Josefina (Sanchez) Sanchez

Josefina Sanchez, age 89 passed away on December 5, 2022, after a long illness.  She was born on May 19, 1933, in San Antonio del Tule, Chihuahua Mexico to Manuel and Aurelia Sanchez.  She was the second of six children. She is survived by her siblings Antonia, Severo and Manuel. 

In 1952 she married Carlos Sanchez, and they were blessed with five children and 11 grandchildren.  Family and faith were the focus of her life. She was a woman strong in her faith which provided her with a foundation to cope with her prolong illness. It was her wish to remain in her home as long as possible, and with the assistance of her loving family they made this possible. Her family is grateful she is now at peace and free from pain.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Josefina is survived by her son Ausensio “Gordo” Sanchez of El Monte, daughter Martha Lorena Haren of Duarte and her 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
