Winone Pilley

Winone Marie Pilley, 82, went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2020. She was born on September 20, 1937 in Dexter, NM to Wesley and Thelma Bradstreet Bailey. Winone graduated from Dexter Public Schools in 1955.

On September 1, 1956 she married Wayne Pilley. They had 5 children, Ted, Wesley, John, Buck and Beth. She had 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Family was very important to Winone, she enjoyed having company and cooking for everyone. She loved to watch her grandkids play. She was an avid collector of antiques and liked to show her babies all of her "pretties", as she would call them. Everyone who met Winone remembers her infectious smile and her way of making everyone feel special and loved.

Winone is survived by her husband Wayne Pilley of their home in Hagerman, NM, sisters Anita Johnson of Dexter, NM, Cherry Mays of Blythe, CA, Becky Steman of Lake Havasu, AZ, brother-in-law Lawrence Ridgley of Cleveland, TN, sons Ted Pilley of Hagerman, NM, Wesley Pilley and wife Shauna of Hagerman, NM, John Pilley and wife Tricia of Hagerman, NM, Buck Pilley and wife Brenda of Ft. Stockton, TX, Daughter Beth Conklin and husband David of Cottonwood, NM, , 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Thelma Bailey, brother Danny Bailey, sister Sue Ridgley and nephew John Steman.
