Rita M. Martinez, a devoted mother, grandmother and lifelong resident of Roswell, NM passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, February 7, 2022 at the age of 83.

Born October 14, 1938 in Bandera, Mexico to Jose and Francisca Marquez who preceded her in death. As well as her three sons Paul Martinez, Joe Martinez and Adam Martinez.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Mary Perez and Rosalinda Madrid of Roswell and son Johnny Martinez of Houston, TX. Also surviving her are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and much more family.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Ballard Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, February 11, 2022 at Hagerman Cemetery.
