William Harris

William Arthur Harris - 06/22/1958 thru 10/23/2021

William started his life growing up in the tobacco fields of West Virginia with his parents Bessie and Arthur "Tubby" Harris. He was a kindhearted, loving hillbilly, a loving brother who would do anything for his children and grandchildren. He was the type of man that would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, whether he knew them or not. William loved truck driving and traveling. His favorite holiday was Christmas, and his favorite color was purple. William was a social butterfly and was never shy about making those around him laugh and always had positive words to say. He had some stubbornness and when he was set on something, there was no bounds, and we loved him for it dearly.

William leaves behind 8 amazing kids Cara, Johnathan, LeLand & Spouse Xanthia, Cory, Lacy & Spouse Courtney and Lisa. 10 spectacular grandchildren Cornie, Declan, Zul, Samanatha, Julisa, Jeramyah, Kaydence, Kenzlee, Kyzer and Lucas. 9 loving siblings, Sherry, Evelyn, Carolyn, Rebecca (Becky), Penny, Teresa, Freda, David, Regina.

William was preceded by his father, mother and 2 sisters Sandy and Emily.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Ballard Funeral Home.
