Tillman Hans Crocker was born February 10, 1956, in Bitburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
to Lloyd Tillman Crocker and Waltraud Christina Crocker. He passed away on January 9,
2026.
He grew up in Germany and moved to El Paso, Texas where he graduated high school. After
high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He met and married Rhonda, the love of
his life in 1975. After leaving the Air Force, Tillman and Rhonda moved to Roswell, New
Mexico where they raised their two children. He worked at Eastern New Mexico University -
Roswell until he retired. After the passing of his wife, Rhonda in December of 2015, Tillman
spent the remainder of his life traveling. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and would
spend time with his children in Dallas, TX attending football games. He enjoyed life with his
family and friends.
Tillman was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Rhonda Dee Crocker. Tillman is
survived by his daughter Heather C. Vigil and husband Richard L. Vigil, II, daughter Desirae
Jolene Reeder and husband Phillip Stephen Reeder. He is survived by his grandchildren
Genoveva DeeAnn Vigil, Richard L. Vigil, III, Alessandro Martin Vigil, Annie Jolene Reeder, and
Nolan Tillman Reeder, along with many nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his
brothers Thomas Crocker and wife Linda Crocker (of Las Cruces, NM), Henry Crocker and wife
Marion Crocker, and sister Micheala Baesler and her husband Lee Baesler (of Rockwall, TX).
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10AM at General Douglas L.
McBride Roswell Veteran Cemetery, to honor Tillman’s life. Family and friends are invited to
attend and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to
the Wounded Warrior Project in Tillman’s name.
Tillman Hans Crocker will be loved and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him
