Theresa Puckett

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 pm, Monday, June 1, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home for Theresa D. Puckett, 49, who passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Mission Arch Care Center, after being diagnosed 3 short months ago with colon-liver cancer. Pastor Tim Arlet of Adventure Bible Church will be officiating.

Theresa was born December 4, 1965 in Union City, TN and adopted by a loving family at age two. She is preceded in death by her father Bill Puckett.

Theresa is survived by her partner of twenty years Linda Sumrow of NM; daughter Chelsea Bedolla (Bernie); mother Alice Puckett of TN; brothers, Tom Mathes (Wendy) of GA: George Puckett (Lorraine) of TN, Kelly (Dale) Puckett of TN and Scott Puckett of IL; sisters-in-law Linda Vruwink of Il and Cindy Bixler (Chris); brother-in-law James Sumrow (Valerie); Aunt Kay Sellers of TN; grandchildren Lupe, Bernardo and Riot Bedolla and numerous nieces and nephews.

She worked as a Diesel Mechanic for many years, also in the Injection Molding Industry in Texas. Theresa was the type of person with a "Jane of all trades", she could take apart and fix anything. She also was a very talented musician with the guitar and bass which she played at many places around town where she met some lifelong friends. She loved playing old Rock N Roll, Classic Rock and Country music.
