A Beloved Son, Father, Brother, Cousin, Grandson, and Nephew
was called to his eternal resting place on May 31, 2025.
Rudy entered this world on February 13, 2004, in Roswell, NM., to loving parents Cynthia Lopez and Gary Duncan.
Preceding Rudy in death is his father, Gary Duncan and grandmother Frances Kay Duncan.
Those left behind to cherish Rudy’s memory are , his mother Cynthia Lopez; sons Isaiah Duncan and Joseph Duncan and their mother Gabrielle Payne; sisters Alexis Duncan; Cylianne Williams; and Grace Duncan; brother Isaiah Lopez; Gampy Rudy Castrillo; grandmother Gaylia Castrillo; cousins Tommy, Kyle, and Teddy Glass; cousins Ernest, Courtney, Kayla, Bowen, Connor, and Ricky Duncan; Aunt Jessica Oldfield and her husband Steve, and Brenda Tanguma, and so many other beloved relatives and friends.
His sons were everything to him. He recently started getting into fishing, which is something his father also enjoyed. Rudy enjoyed music, road trips, concerts, and going to the range.
He loved making others laugh and smile. He loved caring for his family and friends.
Rudy was proud of his sons, and being their dad was his greatest achievement and joy in his life. He was a present, loving and caring father.
Rudy had a heart for helping people who were in need. He had a true gift in music and was able to create a passionate message with music without hardly any effort.
Rudy had a special way of connecting with people. It didn't matter if he had known you forever or just met you, as well as being someone full of compassion for people he didn't know too.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Ballard Funeral Home.
