On Wednesday August 6th, 2025, Ross Earl Dillon passed away at his home in Roswell, New Mexico. Ross was born in 1944 to Phyllis and Eralso in Hanford California.
Ross was an Airman 2nd class in the Air Force. He received training in Lackland Air Force base in Texas and Walker Air Force base in New Mexico. His training was in communications and computers. He also received an associate's degree in computer operating systems.
He continued his education and gained certificates as a network professional in computers, a Linux certified professional and wireless network administrator.
He traveled to places like Costa Rica, New York and Panama in his lifetime and was a man of many stories and talents.
He was a Patron member of the NRA And was an avid Gun collector and Marksman shooter. His favorite local gun shop was Zia guns. He had a great love for German Shepherds, ballet, movies, photography and music. He had friends that he kept in contact with over the years via email and phone calls. He truly loved to facilitate those connections and made a true effort for the people he loved. He contributed to his community recently donating to several free children's ministry events at Grace Community church here in Roswell. His generous contributions in our community and friendship will be missed. He retired as a computer tech and tutor from ENMU-R Campus.
He is preceded in death by his parents Phyllis and Eralso Dillon, Sister-in-law Deborah Dillon.
He is survived by his brother Dennis Dillon, nephew Nathan Dillon, and wife Julie, Cousin K Lee Williamson, close friend and extended family Marie Manning and Kivi Rogers.

Memorial service will be held at 11AM on August 25, 2025, At the General Douglas McBride Veteran Cemetery with our local Honor Guard performing honor services.
