Rosa M. Sanchez

A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at St Johns Catholic Church for Rosa M. Sanchez, age 72, of Roswell, who passed away on May 2, 2007, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Deacon Enrique Salas will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Rosa was born September 6, 1934 to Nicolas Gomez and Luz Naria. Both parents preceded her in death as well as grandchildren, Jazabele Marie Sanchez, Edmundo Rene Sanchez, Cludia Ivette Sanchez, a nephew, Luis Humberto Herrada.

On January 6, 1968, Rosa married Raul A. Sanchez in Mexico. He survives her at the family home.

Rosa is survived by, Sons: Alfonso Raul Sanchez and his wife Christina of Rio Grande Zac Mexico, Arturo Sanchez and his wife Eva of Phoenix, AZ. Rene Sanchez and his wife Maria of Roswell, Raymundo Sanchez and his wife Valeria, of Roswell.

Daughters: Dora Luz Rivera and her husband Priciliano of Phoenix AZ. Veronica Lopez and her husband Manuel of Phoenix AZ. Rosa Serrano and her husband Pablo of Roswell, NM., Sisters: Soccoro Gomez of Los Banos, CA. , Natalia Herrada of Rio Grande Zac Mexico, Leonila Longoria of Rio Grande Zac Mexico,

Rosario Fuentez of Roswell., 21 Grandchildren, Anilu, Alfonso Jr Sanchez, Mayra, Carlos Ulises Rivera, Rosa, Arturo, Hector, Fernanda, Victor, Carlos, Cludia, Luis Sanchez, Veronica, Omar, Marina, Edwardo Lopez, Nicolas, Maria, Jazmin, Claudia Paola, Adamaris, Serrano. Great Grand Children, Daniel, Antonio, Claudio.

Rosa was a Fun, Loving, and caring person, She enjoyed playing bingo and she was very Close to God.

Pallbearers will be Victor Sanchez, Carlos Sanchez, Raymundo Sanchez, Arturo Sanchez, Alfonso Sanchez, Ariel Contreras, Manuel Lopez, Frank Fuentez, and Manny Fuentez
