Renne (Nae-Nae) Nicole Duran
Renne (Nae-Nae) Nicole Duran, 46 went home to be with her Savior on Monday, April 20, 2020.
Renne was born to Armando Carrillo and Yolanda Duran on March 14, 1974 in Roswell, NM, was raised by her “Nana” Lupe Duran and Lelo Arias. She grew up right along with her aunt and uncles making them more as siblings to her.
Renne graduated from University High School in 1992 and continued her education in Albuquerque, NM. She had a son Fernando Lujan with father Chris Lujan who is deceased. Renne then met her soul mate Raymond Romero the love of her life and had a beautiful daughter Angelita Duran. Raymond and Renne also raised Leroy Acosta Jr. as their own.
Renne had a special bond with all her nieces and nephews, her doors were open to them all. She enjoyed cruising her blue Regal listening to oldies with her friends she had to this day.
In Renne’s final days she was cared for by her two best friends and family Olga Silva, Lora Samario and her son Fernando.
Renne is survived by her soul mate Raymond Romero; daughter Angelita Duran; sons Fernando Lujan and Leroy Acosta Jr.; sister Regina Duran; brothers Arturo Duran and Sammy Duran. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Yolanda Duran; father Armando Carrillo; grandmother Lupe Duran; grandfather Lelo Arias; uncle Irvin Duran and cousins Vanessa Espinoza and Alejandro Duran.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Cynthia Duran, Angelita Duran, Anisa Acosta, Raymond Romero, Chris Jr Duran, Arturo Duran and Sammy Duran. Honorary pallbearers are Olga Silva, Lora Samario, Marla Franco, Jennifer Duran, Chris Duran Sr. and Regina Duran.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 30, 2020 at South Park Cemetery.
