Renee Villarreal

Renee Villarreal, 70, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on Saturday, June 4, 2016. She entered this world on January 17, 1946 in Peralta, NM, born to Tony Gonzales and Mary Marquez. She is survived by her sister Christine Marquez; sister Arcelia Cervantez; daughter Angie Griego; daughter Ruth Hoskins; son Bert Griego Jr; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son Robert Griego.

Anyone who knew Renee knows she was a private person who did not want any fanfare upon her death. The peace in her passing was that she would finally get to be with her son Robert, and her mother Mary once again.

As hard as it is, there will be no services for our mother, we are honoring her wishes.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to offer condolences, bring food, share a story, or share a laugh with her grieving family. The support did not go unnoticed and we all appreciate it very much.

In her passing we learned our mother was a tissue and organ donor, we are proud that she made that choice and are comforted that her donation means other people's lives will be changed.

We'll walk this earth in preparation of once again being together as family.
