Ramona Coronado

Born July 10,1927 to Antonia Chavira and Leobardo Sanchez. Entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 91 years of age.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son's Hector Coronado and wife Yolanda and family of Roswell, NM, Oscar Coronado and wife Socorro and family of Dexter, NM; daughters Olga Coronado and family of Dexter, NM, Maria Coronado and family of Artesia, NM and Hortencia Porras and family of Ascension, Mexico. Also surviving her are numerous grandchildren and lots of special friends that share a lifetime of love.

Preceded in death by her husband Manuel Coronado; sons Juan Coronado and Jose David Coronado; daughter Enriqueta Coronado; great-great grandson Ricky Ray Nunez.

Those who knew Ramona knew she had a beautiful heart of gold. She had nicknames for just about anyone. Anyone who ever went to her home never left hungry as she was an amazing cook.

Ramona will be missed so much, but we know even though her long life here on earth is over she is now rejoicing and pain free in Heaven with all her loved ones.

The family would like to thank Mission Arch Care Center for the amazing care they gave Ramona.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 9:30 am, Friday, December 7, 2018 at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Charlie Martinez, OFM officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home.
