Paula Dale Dornblaser, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love and memories of those who knew her best.
Paula was born on August 4, 1948 in Roswell, New Mexico, to Bertha and John M.J. Rhodes. She spent her childhood in Hagerman and graduated from Hagerman High School. She later attended New Mexico State University, where she met Sandra Dick, who became her cherished best friend for more than 60 years. Their lifelong friendship was a testament to Paula's loyalty and loving spirit.
On New Year's Day in 1978, Paula married the love of her life, Ronald Ray Dornblaser. Together they built a life founded on love, devotion, and family. Paula's greatest joy was being a wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was the proud mother of one daughter, Amy Kristine Dornblaser, whom she loved dearly. Paula was also blessed with two granddaughters, Molly Grace Mathews and Journee Hope Dornblaser, who brought endless pride and happiness to her life.
Paula will be remembered for her kindness, strength, warm heart, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She touched the lives of many and left behind a legacy of love, friendship, and treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and John M.J. Rhodes.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Ray Dornblaser; her daughter, Amy Kristine Dornblaser; her granddaughters, Molly Grace Mathews and Journee Hope Dornblaser and son in-law Jacob Landon Walker; her lifelong friend, Sandra Dick; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
