When Mike was not watching his western shows, he could be found enjoying a new sudoku puzzle, building projects with craft wood, heading out to bingo, or enjoying his wife’s home cooked meals she often prepared for him. He had a positive outlook on life and could always be heard cracking a joke or sharing a laugh with those he loved. He enjoyed company and conversations and was sure to have his favorite drink (Pepsi) close by.

Mike enlisted during the Vietnam War conflict serving in the US Army from June 1962-1966 and was stationed in Germany as a supply support specialist. After his time in the service, he worked many years at TMC/ Nova Bus as an assembler. He was a member of the Saint John’s Men’s Club, later becoming known as Knights of Columbus where he achieved the rank of Grand Knight. He and his late wife had a passion for the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed volunteering for any activities they may be involved in.
