On August 13, 2023, Matilde Linares, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother, was granted eternal peace.

She is remembered as a woman of faith who enjoyed shopping, exploring new places, collecting, listening to music ranging from boleros by Agustin Lara to country music and more. She also enjoyed reading books on history and art. In her earlier years Matilde and Pablo, her husband, began flipping properties in Chicago. In her later years, this fashionista enjoyed the camaraderie of campions at the Senior Centers where she was a Loteria champion. Her quick wit endeared her to all that got the joke.

She is loved and will be greatly missed. She will forever be in our hearts.
