Mary Sedillo

A rosary is scheduled for 7pm, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Mary Gloria Sedillo, 78, who passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 surrounded by her family. A communion services is scheduled for 10 am, Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at St. John's Catholic Church with Deacon Ernesto Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 am to service time Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home.

Mary was born May 28, 1937 in Roswell, NM to Sinforoso Ramirez and Maria Johnson who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Vicente Sedillo Sr.; her great grandson Johnathan Marquez and step granddaughter Elisa Navarrete.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Vincent Sedillo Jr. and Robert Sedillo; her daughters Mary Helen Franco and husband Juan, Esther Trujillo and husband Ruben, Pat Vegara, Viola Marquez and husband Amado (Bunny) and Delisa Natividad and husband Roy and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary was of the catholic faith and a member of St. John's Catholic Church. She loved cleaning her house, cooking, taking care of her yard and shopping. Mary was the last surviving and youngest of many siblings.

The family would like to give special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, Frances Olivas and Shirley Harkey for their great care of our mother.

Serving as pallbearers are Manuel Carrillo, Robert V. Sedillo, Jerry Marquez, Patrick Mendoza, Stephen Vegara and Faustino Garcia. Honorary pallbearers are Amado Marquez, Ruben Trujillo, Juan Franco and Stephanie Vegara.
