It is with great sadness that the family of Martina Bartlett announce her passing on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the age of 88. Martina was born on April 19, 1930 in Sunset, New Mexico, Lincoln County. She was the daughter of Eustaquio and Nestora Silva.

Martina was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. She loved to spend time laughing and dancing with her family and friends. She was dedicated to the medical field as a nurse aide for over 30 years at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, CO.
After her retirement, Martina moved to Mora, NM to live close to her son and many grandchildren. She lived her final year in Westminster, CO with her loving daughters.

Martina will be lovingly remembered by her children David Salcido and wife, Ernestine, Irvin Salcido and wife, Patty, Eucaris Mirelez and husband, Ray, Deborah Salcido, Clara Bartlett, Sandra Bartlett, and John Bartlett and wife, Janet; 19 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren,
and ten great-great grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her four siblings Hope Carrion, Ernestina Huizar, Adelina Pino, and Albert Silva, numerous nephews, nieces and extended family and friends. She was preceded by her parents, husband, four sisters,
two brothers and son, Ray Salcido.

A rosary service will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., at St. John's Catholic Church in Roswell, NM. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held in memory of Martina on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at St. John's Catholic Church in Roswell, NM.
She will be laid to rest in the Hondo Cemetery in Hondo, NM. Flowers can be sent to Ballard Funeral Home in Roswell, NM.
