Obituary

Antonia Maria Nunez "Nana", 93, beloved Spouse, Mother, and Nana, was called to her eternal resting place on August 31, 2026. She entered this world on September 8, 1932 in Santa Rosa, NM, born to Augustine Valencia and Isabel Apodaca Valencia.

Everyone knew Antonia as "Nana". She was the glue to the family. Our best memories were spending the night at Nana's house. She had a smile that lit the whole room. When she was around, love was the only thing you would feel. She was able to give uncoditional love to 4 gerenations. Her tamales and tortillas were the best in the world. Nana was the one you can go to for anything you needed. There was nothing that Nana couldn't fix. She was strong in faith and was a blessing to all who knew her.

Nana's passion in life was taking care of her family and showing everyone she crossed paths with love and understanding. She loved to spend her time cooking for friends and family. She had a special touch growing and caring for her fruit trees. You could always catch her thrifting on weekend mornings and reading books in the evenings.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Brady; son Joe Nunez(Yolanda Nunez); sister Katie; sister Connie; brother Raymond; granddaughter Emily Brady; granddaughter Jennifer Gamez(Martin Gamez); grandson Rick Nunez(Marissa Nunez); grandson Michael Nunez; grandson Thomas Nunez; grandson Daniel Gomez; grandson David Gomez; great-grandson Santiago Olivas; great-granddaughter Santianna Analla(Daniel Garcia); great-granddaughter Michelle Garcia; great-granddaughter Abrianna Gamez; great-grandson Martin Jr Gamez; great-grandson Anthony Gamez; great-granddaughter Sierra Gamez; great-granddaughter Nevaeh Nunez; great-granddaughter Amia Nunez; great-granddaughter Isabella Nunez; great-grandson Ricky Brady; great-granddaughter Alyssa Brady; great-granddaughter Karyssa Brady; great-grandson Isaac Brady; great-granddaughter Danielle Montoya; great-grandson Devan Nunez; great-grandson Joshua Nunez; great-grandson Brenden Nunez; great-great Granddaughter Summeriah Garcia.
