Margarita Medina Mendoza

Margarita Medina Mendoza, 64, passed away on February 28, 2009 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Johns Catholic Church. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. .

Margarita was born on June 30, 1944 to Pedro Medina Gonzales and Isabel Mendoza in Janos, Chihuahua. Margarita was preceded in death by her father.

Margarita was a volunteer at San Pedro Eatery Catholic Church. She was also employed at New Mexico Military Institute for 6 years.

Margarita is survived by her mother, Isabel Mendoza; sons, Jose Remigio Medina and his wife Sandra and three daughters of Janos, Chihuahua, Rigoberto Medina and his wife Laura and three daughters of Las Cruces, NM, and Ever Rodolfo Medina and his wife Magda and six daughters of Farmington, NM; brothers, Emilio Medina, Antonio Medina, Manuel Medina, and Pedro Medina; sisters, Elvira Garcia, Socorro Medina, Alicia Medina, Lidia Lawrence, Luz Vasquez, and Juana Castillo; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Paulbearers will be Ever Medina, Rigoberto Medina, Pedro Medina, Ever Medina, Jr., Manuel Vasquez, Omar Medina, Willie Castillo, and Manuel Medina.
