A burial is scheduled for 2 P.M., Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the Hondo Cemetery in Hondo, N.M. for Lola Whitacre, 92, who passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at her home in Roswell, N.M. Lola was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Porfiria Sedillo, son Tony Gutierrez and brother Andres Sedillo and Jake Sedillo and sisters Dora Daley and Portiria Mendoza and Carolyn Clayton. Lola is survived by her sons Robert Gutierrez, Joe Gutierrez, Jr., Orlando Gutierrez and his wife Rosa all from Hondo, N.M. her daughters Virginia Miller of Roswell, N.M., Prescilla Chavez and her husband Melvin of San Patricio, N.M., Darlene Torrez and her husband David of Roswell, N.M and 25 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
