Lawanna Burress-Holland went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2024. She was born on November 29, 1953 to J.W. and Clovia Harlan in Brownfield, Texas. She is survived by her husband, William Shipp Holland of Roswell, three children; daughter, Rebecca Duncan of Denver, CO; son Larame Burress of Abilene, TX, and stepdaughter Candra Inman of Panhandle, TX; 8 grandchildren; Tiana Washburn, Dylan Seth, Bailey, Colton and Loralye Burress, Hudson and Audrey Inman, and two great grandchildren; Abel and Utred Washburn.
Lawanna has provided psychotherapeutic services through her private practice for the community of Roswell since January of 2024. Previously, she provided mental health services in Abilene, TX and the surrounding area through both employment and her private practice.
Memorial is to be scheduled by the family and is to be a "family only" service.
