Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am, Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Kodi Rilynn Buckner, 39, who passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Greenbrier, AR. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 9 am to 7 pm at Ballard Funeral Home.

Kodi was born in Gallup, NM to Riley L. Paris and Suellen Denise Nelson. She is preceded in death by her grandfather's C.W. Nelson and Paul T. Christensen Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents Tex and Suellen Christensen of San Pedro, CA; son Tatum King-Paris of Greenbrier, AR; grandmother's Marinelle Nelson and Glenna Christensen; daughter Madison Cox and husband Michael of Ozark, AL; sister Twyla Pyle Butler and husband Shawn of Greenbrier, AR; step-sisters Tiffany Christensen of San Antonio, TX and Nikkie Christensen of Michigan; granddaughter Rilynn Cox; niece McKenzie Taylor and nephews Gregory Taylor and Devan Butler.

Kodie had a big heart and loved her children dearly who she loved to spend time with. She had a passion for fishing and dogs. Kodi's biggest passion was the love she had for turtles, she had a turtle tattoo and always would say "I break for Turtles". She loved turtles so much she would use her sister Twyla's tooth brush to clean her turtles. Kodi will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. She will always be close to our hearts.
