She attended St. Johns and St. Peters Schools. She started working as a waitress at Siesta Caf, after marriage she worked at Glover Packing, as a cook at NMMI and Job Corps, where she got her GED. She became a nurses aide at Mission Arch, Sunset Villa and Casa Maria. She then became a private duty aide of which she was very proud. She was a bingo caller at St. Johns and St. Peters, and at the Knights of Columbus. In addition, she loved to play bingo. She fed her husbands Boy Scouts after every campout, before sending them home. She was beloved also by her sons musician friends, who played in all the local bands, whom she scolded and chided to keep straight, hence she was Mama G to all.

She gave people a place to stay in her home, food when they needed it, and comfort to all who needed it. Everyone was a friend to her. Her cooking was relished from the St. Johns State Fair booth, to the Knights of Columbus dinners and banquets. She loved to make tamales, form the early times to raise money for her kids Christmas, to later times in the company of her sisters. To her, there was a way for everything, in hard work, and faith in the Lord.

We extend our thanks to all her nurses Tammy and Annie, care givers, doctors, and Diane for the special care. A 4th degree Knights of Columbus Honor Guard will honor her at the rosary.
