Kapall Dee Kelley, 88, of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 15, 2026. Kap was born on March 21, 1938 in Carson, Iowa to Tama and Bryan Kelley.

Kap grew up on a farm in Iowa and was active in sports. After graduation in 1955, he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Kansas and Labrador. He came to New Mexico in 1959 and worked for Farm Bureau. He married Judy McKnight in 1962 and became a lifelong farmer and rancher with his wife and children.

Kap is survived by his wife of 64 years, Judy Kelley, and his children Mark Kelley (Christa), Mike Kelley (Tammy), Jennifer Taylor (Kerry), Martin Kelley, and Mitchell Kelley; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister.

Kap belonged to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church for 55 years, where he served on the Vestry several times, and ushered for many years. Pending services will be held at 10:30 AM on at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
