Julian Sanchez

March 10, 1971 — April 1, 2016

Julian Anthony Sanchez

On April 1, 2016, Julian Anthony Sanchez was ushered home by our gracious Lord Jesus. He was born in Roswell, NM to Eloy M. Sanchez Sr. and Josephine H. Sanchez on March 10, 1971.

Julian was preceded in death by his father, who he admired, honored and respected for his military service as staff Sargent of the 11th Airborne Division, but most importantly, for his love.

He is survived by his stepson Michael Dunn of Colorado Springs, Colorado, mother Josephine "Josie" Sanchez of Roswell, NM, his sister Helen Sedillo and spouse Joseph E. of Roswell, NM, brothers Eloy Jr. Sanchez and spouse Petrita of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Lawrence Sanchez and spouse Margaret of Rowell, NM. Julian is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles close to his heart.

Julian appreciated the years of his mother's spiritual guidance and prayers for him. Her attentive love and dedication helped to foster in him the courage and strength to overcome many of life's challenges. Julian was a well spring of life and humor who fed everyone around him with his great sense of humor and his authentic compassion. Through his sufferings, Julian relied on his faith and trust in his Lord, never complaining, but choosing to pick up the cross-even until the end. Julian loved his "Dukes of Hazzard" truck, relished in shooting his gun, and was skillful with technology (with a wide range of knowledge). He was a graduate of West Mesa High School of Albuquerque NM in 1990.

The family would like to thank Jimmy Johns for their friendship where he loved their #8 special and could eat there every day! The family would also like to extend a very warm and heartfelt thank you to the dialysis center for their care of Julian and the wonderful people at Mission Arch Care Center.

Celebration of life service for Julian will be on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 7pm at the First Church of the Nazarene at 501 N. Sycamore Street.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm, Friday, April 8, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home, 910 S. Main St.
