Juanita Rosemary Sanchez
Juanita Rosemary Sanchez, age 75, passed away at home after a long and brave battle with cancer, on December 26, 2021. She was born on March 1, 1946, in Manzano, New Mexico to Miguel and Raquel Sanchez. Rosemary grew up in Roswell, New Mexico.
Rosemary is survived by her sons, Nathan Carter (wife Krista), Juan M. Rodriguez, and Paul S. Rodriguez, her brothers and sisters Dora LeJeuene, Mary Burrola (husband Jimmy), Francisco Sanchez (wife Elka), Peggy Ortiz (husband Ignacio), Isabel Silva (husband Albert), and Mike Sanchez (wife Cheryl), her grandchildren Sierra Carter and Noah Carter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Mark Carter, her sisters Delia Cobos (Sanchez), Teresa Sanchez Vigil, and her brothers, Benny Sanchez and Jerry Sanchez.
Rosemary loved her sons and grandchildren deeply. She loved her family and being with family. She was so happy hearing about your life and would want to see pictures, hear funny stories and she would soak it in. She enjoyed reading, watching EWTN, and saying many daily prayers for everyone she loved.
A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 2808 North Kentucky Avenue at 2:00pm, Friday, December 31, 2021. Interment will follow the memorial mass at the Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church Columbarium.
