Juanita Mona Hidalgo
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great- grandmother went home to be with our lord on September 18, 2006.

Our mother was born in San Patricio, N.M. on March 8, 1915, to Martina Prudencio and, Manuel Montoya. Both parents have preceded her in death.

A rosary will be held September 20, 2006 at 7:00 pm at the Ballard Funeral Chapel

A funeral service will be held September 21, 2006 at 2:00 pm at St. Johns Church, Father Juan Montoya will officitate.

On November 27, 1931, our mother married our dad Dave Hidalgo, who left to be with our lord on October 28, 1986.

During fifty-five years of marriage mom and dad were blessed with eight children. Four of the eight siblings left to be angels of God, and on October 27, 1976, their son Greg left to be with the lord also, also two grandsons Roger Carrillo, and Charles Gonzalez Jr. went to be with the lord on October 8, 1999 and June 21, 1965.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Hidalgo and his wife Dolores of Roswell; daughter Mary De Los Santos of Roswell, and another daughter Martina Carrrasco and her husband Paul, of Hobbs N.M., other survivors include a sister Dorothy Little, of Roswell, as well as sixteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and five great--great grandchildren. She had four brothers who are also deceased. Pallbearers are Johnny Pelon Hidalgo; Gregory Hidalgo; David Carrillo; Jerry Carrasco; Michael Trujillo; Wilfred Hidalgo, and Roger Carrillo Jr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory.
