In Loving Memory of Jose Santillan July 27, 1975 – June 8, 2026
Jose Santillan passed away on June 8, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him beyond measure and will cherish his memory for the rest of their lives. While his passing has left an immeasurable void, his legacy of love, generosity, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jose lived life to the fullest. He never worried about the opinions of others, choosing instead to live authentically and unapologetically. He believed life was meant to be enjoyed, and he made the most of every moment.
Music was the spark that brought Jose's spirit to life. Whether he was driving, working, relaxing at home, or surrounded by family and friends, there was always a song playing. Music reflected the joy, freedom, and passion with which he lived. Jose's presence was as memorable as the music that surrounded him. It was impossible to think of Jose without picturing him in his boots, hat, crisp button-up shirt, and perfectly starched jeans. He wore them with pride because they were a reflection of the man he was—hardworking, genuine, and unapologetically himself.
Above all else, Jose's greatest love was his family. His children, Adrianna Natali Santillan and Jose Adrian Santillan, were his greatest blessings, his proudest accomplishments, and the center of his world. He spoke of them with immense pride and loved them with every part of his heart. Whether they were laughing, making memories, or simply spending time together, those moments meant everything to him. Though they can no longer see him, they will carry his love, guidance, and the countless memories they have in their hearts forever.
Jose had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and loved. His sense of humor, infectious laughter, and unforgettable smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Being around Jose meant laughing a little harder, smiling a little more, and leaving with a lighter heart.
Jose was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Gloria Chairez Santillan and Narciso Santillan Sr., who undoubtedly welcomed him home with open arms.
He is survived by his children, along with many loving family members, great friends, and all whose lives were made brighter by knowing him.
Jose's life was a beautiful reminder that the greatest measure of a person is not found in what they possess, but in the love they give, the kindness they show, and the lives they touch. He lived
boldly, loved deeply, and filled the world around him with laughter and music. His memory will forever be a blessing, and he will be deeply loved, profoundly missed, and never forgotten.
A memorial service for Jose Santillan will be held at Ballard Funeral Home on July 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM. We invite everyone who knew and loved him to join us in honoring his life.
