John (Bob) Hermann
John (Bob) Hermann passed away on July 17 2023 in Roswell, New Mexico. Bob was born March 7, 1937 to Robert and Ruth (Anderson) Hermann in Des Moines Iowa.
Bob is survived by his children: Craig (Julie), Diane (Rick Deangelo) and Lori; 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and his brother Tom (Dianna)Hermann of Nokomis, Florida.
Bob is preceded in death by good friend Mary Dingman; his Parents; brother David; sister Delores Linder, and former spouse and mother of his children Frankie Hermann.
After retiring from NCR, Bob purchased the Hi-Ho Motel which he ran from 1980-1996. After selling the Motel, Bob left Iowa to see the country.
Eventually he "landed" in Roswell NM where he lived the remainder of his life. While in Roswell he opened Grandy's Furniture that he operated for a few years.
Bob loved automobiles, especially his antique cars. He was a member of the Kaiser/Frazier and Willys club for decades. In his younger years he possessed a pilot license and he always enjoyed just having a great time.
Bobs cremains will be interred at the Booneville Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at Thomas Mitchell Park, Shelter #1 on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 1:00-4:00.
