They moved to Mountainair where they had their first born and then later moved to Roswell and raised their five children in a house that he moved while working for Maxwell House Movers. He also helped build the dam at Clayton Lake State Park in the mid 1950’s.
Joe had a passion for Christ and grew up as a Catholic. He had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved being with his family, going to the gym and spent many days at the Joy Center after he retired where he was very competitive in playing pool with his friends. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
