Jeremy Benton Rumbaugh
Beloved Jeremy passed way on April 22, 2007. We knew Jeremy as an outstanding father, son, brother and friend. He touched our lives in many ways.
Jeremy was born February 1, 1979 and lived a rich life. When he wasnt reading, he was listening to or creating music, an activity which sustained him throughout his life. He was lead singer in the band Uncle Sid until he graduated with honors from Roswell High School in 1997. He discovered his passion for medicine and began work at transcription not long after Jeremy was blessed with two sons who were his true source of joy and pride.
People who had the good fortune to know Jeremy will remember him for his ironic sense of humor, his intelligence, and his warm bear hugs. Jeremy was the truest of people, genuine about who he was and what he felt. If you came to him for help you would inevitably be met with the warmth and heartfelt empathy. He was a family man and had an unwavering commitment to those he loved. Jeremys spirit lives on through his acts and in our memories.
Two sons, Logan Benton Rumbaugh and Evan David Rumbaugh, his mother Rebecca Rumbaugh, his sisters Erica Entrop and Meredith Jefferys, her husband Tyson Jefferys, his maternal grandparents Kathy and Benton Rumbaugh, his paternal grandfather, Jordan Glew, his adoptive father, Robert Entrop, and many dear friends survive Jeremy.
A memorial service will be held at Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Enchanted Lands Park at Sycamore and Riverside. All those who knew and loved Jeremy are invited to come and share their memories of him. A reception will be held at his mothers home at 415 N. Lea immediately following the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory. An online registry can be accessed at www.ballardfuneralhome.com
