Jeannette was born on May 31, 1919 in San Francisco, CA to Sylvester and Eveline Barnes Jennings. They both preceded her in death.

She was a teacher in California for 39 years. She taught High School and college. She had a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts of San Francisco University, and the Valedictorian of her class. She also had a Masters degree in Speech at Stanford University.

She is survived by numerous second cousins, and 4 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband, and her 2 cousins, James T. Jennings, and Dr. Emmit M. Jennings.
