Francis Lee Eckard

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2006 at South Cemetery for Francis Lee Eckard, age 74 of Roswell, who passed away January 2, 2007 at a local care center. Cecil Kimberland a Vista Care Chaplin will officiate.

Francis was born on January 10, 1932 to Russell and Beatrice DeLong Eckard in Amanda, Ohio. His parents precede him in death as well as one brother Kenneth Eckard and one sister.

He is survived by his sons Tim Mitchell of Castle Rock, Co., and Tony Mitchell of Colfax, Ca; one daughter: Marcella D. Alvarez of Pharr, TX; one brother: Carl Eckard of Lancaster, Ohio; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Francis was a past member of VFW. He was an avid fisherman and outdoors man. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
