Frances P. Wieland

Frances P. Wieland, 90, of Ruidoso Downs, NM passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024. She was born on March 3, 1933 in San Patricio, NM to Willie Randolph and Dulcinella Polaco who preceded her in death.

Frances was also preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Wieland; daughter Betty Wieland; brother Billy Randolph; sisters Beatres Trujillo and Viola Montano.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sons Billy Wieland and wife Eva, Charles Wieland Jr., and Leo Wieland; grandchildren Billie Jean Hooper and husband William, James Wieland and wife Jennifer and Isabell Curtis and husband Isiah; great grandchildren Abbygail, Lylee, Jacob, Marshall, Matthew, Van and Zenith. She is also survived by her brothers Levoy Randolph and Kister Randolph.

Frances married Charles Wieland on March 8, 1955, in Roswell, NM and they built a beautiful life together. Frances was a strong fighter who loved life. She was the most caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, sister, and friend. Anyone that spent time with Frances could tell you how kind, generous, and funny she was and you did not leave her home hungry. Our loss is immeasurable but so is the love she left behind. Frances will always be in our hearts.

A viewing will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Ballard Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 22, 2024 at St. Jude’s Church in San Patricio.
