Emaline Burress

Emaline Imogene Burress, 82, Roswell, NM, formerly of Brownsburg, passed away Aug. 21, 2009. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by husband William Burress. Survivors include son James Burress, Roswell, NM; brother James Cole, Leesburg, FL; sisters Helen Quick and Mildred George, Brownsburg, Maxine Whigham, Littleton, CO, and Mary Bird, Long Beach, WA; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be 11am Fri., Aug. 28 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory.
