Elvira Orquiz

On Thursday, February 14, 2019, Elvira Orquiz, loving wife and mother, went to be with the Lord at age 77.
Elvira was born on August 10, 1941 to Vicente and Antonia Quinones in San Bernardo, Durango in Mexico. On January 26, 1963, she married Apolonio Orquiz and together they raised their son, Daniel. She cared for many children throughout her life and was known as a second mother to many.

She was the life of the party and love to dance. Her laughter was infectious, and she was known for making people laugh even at their own expense.

Family and friends were very important to Elvira and were always welcomed into her home.
Her home cooked meals were very delicious, and no one went ever went hungry.

Elvira enjoyed gardening and her yard was a sight to see come springtime.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vicente, her mother Antonia. Elvira is survived by her husband Apolonio, their son Daniel, her granddaughters Collette and Kristina, her sisters her sisters Ninfa, Anita, Rosa, and brother Guerillmo, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
