Ella Himebaugh

Ella (Ellie) Himebaugh, 96, was born February 9, 1920. She passed away peacefully at her home in Roswell, NM on April 4, 2016. Survived by sons: Boyd Himebaugh Jr. (wife Shyrl), Arlington WA, John Himebaugh, San Diego CA; daughter Candy Stephens, Roswell, NM; sister, LaVile Nelson, Richfield, NM and special niece Ginger Russell, Albuquerque, NM.

Seven grandchildren: Dawn Lorass (husband Paul); Brent Himebaugh (wife Becca); Jason Stephens (fiancée Laura Jo McElwain); Justin Stephens (wife Stephanie); Jon Stephens (wife Heather); Emily Himebaugh and David Himebaugh.

Thirteen grandchildren: Ella and Lilly Lorass; Brady Himebaugh; Madison, Jackson, Judson, Jameson Stephens; Jaydon, Kaylee and MJ Stephens; Jacob, Emily and Michael J. Stephens.

Preceded in death by husband Boyd Himebaugh; sisters: Leona Kveum, Shirley Boehm and Irene Hamann; her parents Erick and Annetta Grosz.

Memorial service scheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m. at Gateway Church International, located at 1900 N. Sycamore Ave., Roswell, NM. Phone, 623-8670.

Interment at Grace Community Church's Columbarium: location for remembrance.

In lieu of followers, the family requests contributions are made to: Gateway Christian School, Science Lab or Grace Community Church, The Hope Fund.

Proverbs 31: 25-28

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.
