Eliseo Gomez Carrasco
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, November 30, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Eliseo Gomez Carrasco who passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 in Roswell. Burial will follow at Hagerman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home.

Eliseo was born April 16, 1950 in Alpine, TX to Mateo Carrasco and Elisa Gomez Carrasco who have preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brother Mateo Carrasco Jr. and sister Enedina Carrasco.

Those left to carry on his memory are his two children who he was very proud of and enjoyed watching them grow from children to successful adults, his son Eliseo Adrian Carrasco and daughter Natalie Carrasco; brother Manuel Carrasco and wife Elida; sisters Mary Sanchez and husband Frank, Elva Constancio and husband Louis and Margarita Carrasco and by his grandchildren who loved him very much Uriah and Apollonia. Eliseo and Lupe were married for 36 years and remained close until his passing.

Eliseo worked for Sears for 45 years where he received Employee of the Month several times, Employee of the Year and Top Sales Man many times. He was a very hard worker and had two jobs for many years to provide for his family. Eliseo was a faithful member of Christ Church for many years. He was very family oriented and a very loving and caring dad, who always was very supportive of his children and grandchildren. Eliseo always enjoyed a good meal and was curious by nature. He also enjoyed watching basketball, football, boxing and MMA. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting. Eliseo was a happy and friendly person who enjoyed talking and joking with people. He will be missed very much by his family and friends.
