Dewayne Brown

Dewayne Sears Brown passed away on Sunday April 7, 2019.
Born on March 16, 1933, in Dublin, Texas, Wayne was a long-time resident of Roswell, having attended Roswell High School where he played on the winning state championship basketball team. He met, and later married, his high school sweetheart, Joye Lair. Wayne enlisted in the Army in 1953 and was stationed at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas. Returning to Roswell, Wayne owned and ran the College Dry Cleaners for over fifty years. Wayne was known for his quick wit, engaging personality, and love for hunting and golf. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Joye Lair Brown, and he is survived by two sons, Hayward and Spencer Brown, and their families.
