David Smith

A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for David Clinton Smith, 75, who passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 5, 2024 also at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

David was born March 14, 1949 in Carbondale, IL to John David and Pauline Geneva Smith who have preceded him in death. 

David retired from roofing and painting, which he enjoyed doing very much. He was a faithful and devoted Christian. 

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his brother Justin Smith of Roswell; sister Paulette Smith; nephew Roy Smith and nieces Jocelyn Smith and Stevie Beaty. He will be deeply missed.
