Danielle Marie Mendoza, a radiant soul born on June 22, 2006, in Roswell New Mexico, departed this life on January 25, 2026. Her time among us, though far too brief, was a testament to her beautifully vibrant spirit and the profound impact she made on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Danielle lived her life with an authenticity that drew others close. She was a shining beacon of strength and courage, marked by a personality that combined humor, kindness, and an unwavering loyalty to her family and friends. Those who crossed her path will remember her not only for her ability to inspire and motivate but also for her gentle heart and the deep love she possessed for those around her.
In pursuit of education, Danielle was currently in her third semester of college, aspiring to become a Pharmacy Technician while nurturing her creative ambition as a tattoo artist. Her interests illuminated her warm spirit; from cooking and dancing to honoring her love for music and art, she poured her heart into every endeavor. A particular fondness for Cowboy football and a passion for low riders and show cars underscored her vibrant personality, making each moment spent with her an enjoyable adventure.
In her professional life, Danielle served as a retail clerk, a role she approached with diligence and a bright smile. Her ambition and determination were evident in all she undertook, exemplifying the hallmark traits that her family admired so deeply.
Danielle cherished her family fiercely, and she is mourned by her father, Daniel Mendoza; her beloved brothers, Bobby Gonzales and Arturo Duran; her dear sisters, Brianna Rubio, Solara Gonzales, and Champaine Gonzales; as well as her nieces and nephews: Eric Sedillo, Jr., Dayton, Sofia, Josiah, Eziah, Avangelique Gonzales, and an anticipated niece or nephew on the way. Her bond extended to her grandparents, Robert and Gloria Mendoza, and her grandmother, Joan Serna, alongside uncles Lorenzo Cobos, and Bobby Mendoza and Aunt Gina Mendoza, and cousins Ganni, Gianna, and Isiah Mendoza. Each relationship played a pivotal role in the radiant tapestry of her life.
Sadly, her journey is met with the absence of those who have predeceased her. Danielle is reunited with her mother, Geneva Serna; Aunt Tabatha Serna; her god-parent, Tara Velasquez; and her grandfather, Manuel Artiaga. Their legacy continues through her as she embodies their love and teachings in every cherished memory.
