Daniel Ray Marrujo Sr.

Viewing will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 2pm-6pm at Ballard Funeral Home. Service will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church Tuesday June 30, 2026, at 9:30am for the Rosary and Mass at 10am. Followed by interment at South Park Cemetery located at 3101 S Main St.

Daniel was born on October 24, 1971, in Roswell, New Mexico, passed away on June 6, 2026, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 54. Danny brought light and laughter to all who knew him throughout his life. Daniel will be welcomed by his parents, Carlos (Charlie) Marrujo and Ana Mae Marrujo; his sister Lorena Ann Guzman; and his grandparents Grandma and Grandpa Ortega.

Danny was a hardworking construction worker who took pride in his work. His dedication and strong work ethic were evident in everything he did. He was the kind of person who lit up every room with his stories, and sense of humor. Danny's life was filled with adventure and joy; he loved hunting and exploring the outdoors. Never one to back down from a dare; he carried a mischievous smile that reflected his spirited personality. A baseball player and a joker at heart, Danny, had a unique ability to bring people together through laughter and shared experiences. He cherished camping, fishing, and family gatherings that created countless memories that will be treasured forever. Above all else, Danny’s greatest joy was his children. He worked tirelessly to ensure they were proud of him and often expressed how deeply proud he was of them in return. His love for his family extended to his grandchildren, whom he adored.

Danny is survived by his children: Daniel Ray Marrujo Jr, his partner Kayla Maire Dalton and their children Remington Ray Marrujo, Landon Lee Marrujo, and Farrah Lee Garcia;

Krisynthia Marie Marrujo, her partner Frankie Meads and their daughter Athena Meads; Kassandra Monique Marrujo, her partner Joel Sanchez and their children Mia, Maddox, and Tristen Sanchez; Elijah Alberto Marrujo; and Reyna Mia Marrujo. He is also survived by his siblings: Carlos Marrujo Jr, his partner Valarie Marrujo; Monica Charlene Chumley; John

Joseph Marrujo; and Delores Marie Marrujo.

Danny’s faith guided him throughout his life. He taught those around him the value of hope and the importance of being there for others with a helping hand or a listening ear. His legacy lives through the lessons he imparted to his family and friends. Danny’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him. His mischievous smile, adventurous spirit, and boundless love for his family will never be forgotten. Thank you, until we meet again—we love you always. May Danny’s memory bring comfort to all who mourn him.
