Crystal Vigil-Juarez

Crystal passed away on October 21, 2017 in Albuquerque NM. Crystal was born May 22, 1978 in Roswell NM and was 39 years old. She was born to David Vigil and Frances Horton, both of her parents have preceded her in death.
Crystal lived a life that was uniquely all her own. For many people around her Crystals contribution to their lives was her innate ability to liven up an otherwise darkened room with personality and charisma. She seemed fearless at times not willing to back down when others might chose to be timid; she could be flexible when sternness was inappropriate; and she was compassionate when others might be willing to be unforgiving. She was a life not polished but her luster was in her attempt to always be the best she could be. Her light left to soon but during its short time it burned with a fire that has silhouetted a legacy that will be with her family for generations to come. A legacy that will be seen in her children and the memories they carry with them; a legacy she leaves for a husband who is mourning; and a legacy for her family that will never forget the times, both amazing and sorrowful, that the time with them mattered.
Preceded in death are her mother Frances Horton; father David Vigil; grandfather Felipe Horton, Manuel Vigil and Gregoria Potillo of Tularosa NM; Aunts Kathryn "Kathey" Horton, Mary Lou Horton, Rose Salazar Horton; Uncles Rosito Horton, Augustine Horton; nephew Jeremiah Ray Jaramillo; Cousin Angel Horton.
Survivors are her husband Frankie Juarez; sister Josefina "Weda" Horton, April Horton; step-sister Leticia Alverado Mize and step-brother Sammy Alverado; grandma Fernanda Horton; aunts Cruz Dillard, Nancy Garcia, Rose Hernandez, Juanita Rubio, Carmen Anaya, Fernanda Garcia, Sally Chavez, Cathy Vigil, Mary Reynolds, Pat Deleon, Liz Barbara Duran; uncles Adam Horton, Phillip Naverette; children Jose Munoz, Santino Munoz, Ernest Munoz and Mia Munoz; granddaughter Atalaya Munoz; nephews and nieces are Danny Jo Longoria, Veronica Horton, Atalaya Horton, Crystal F. Horton, Desiree J. Horton, Esperanza C.M. Garcia, and Ethan C. Horton.
Pallbearers are Frankie Juarez, April Horton, Clayton Means, Edward Means, Jose Munoz and Gabriel Horton.
Honorary Pallbearers are Olga Silva, June Rivas, Brandy Salazar, Mechila Salazar, Nichole Salazar, Eva Salazar and Amber Salazar.
A visitation will be held at Ballard Funeral Home on Saturday November 18, 2017 from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. A Rosary will be celebrated on Sunday November 19, 2017 at 5:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow.
