A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Crescencio Chris Lujan of Roswell, who passed away on October 17, 2006 at his residence. He was 37 years old. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2006 at Church on the Move. Pastor Ruben Rodriguez will officiate. Pastor Mark Green of Living Stones Christian Fellowship will give the eulogy. Interment will follow the services at South Park Cemetery.

Chris was born February 13, 1969 in Roswell, NM to Crescencio and Mary Sanchez Lujan.

On July 12, 2003 he married Stephanie Aguilar in his hometown. She survives him at the family home. He attended Eastern New Mexico University where he obtained his certificate in AC and Heating maintenance. He was employed at C-Reading Plumbing and Heating. Chris was a member of Living Stones Christian Fellowship, and enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

Other survivors include his parents, his sons; Dominic Lujan of Las Cruces, and Fernando Lujan of Roswell, his daughters; Christina Lujan, Marissa Lujan, and Katrina Lopez all of Roswell, brothers; Nick Lujan of Albuquerque, NM, and Rauly Lujan of Roswell, grandparents; Romelio Sanchez, and Lilia Vallejos. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles; Helen Saenz, Danny and Rachael Melendez, Gilberto and Susie Carrillo, Frank and Michelle Sanchez, Orlando and Merlinda Padilla all of Roswell, Jimmy and Rebecca Sanchez, and Yolanda Sanchez of Hagerman, Becky Sanchez of Albuquerque, Lico and Dolores Lujan, Nacho and Amparo Lujan and Bob and Esperanza Gann all of Roswell, Benny Gonzales of Leveland, TX and Emma Rietsch of Garden Gove, CA, numerous cousins, and special cousins, George Lujan and James Lujan.

Pallbearers will be Pete Lujan, Nachito Lujan, Richard Morales, Raul Salazar, James Perez, and Artie Luna. Honorary Pallbearers will be Anthony Garcia, Ben Rivera, Adam Garcia, Chon Rubio, Sylvester, Rauly Lujan, Johnny Gallegos, Chris Candelaria, and Sammy Lopez.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory.
