Connie Elizabeth Stuart, 61, born September 15, 1957 went home to be with Jesus after a lengthy battle with cancer February 18, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas. She had a long history in the Roswell Community starting at a young age. She attended Goddard High School, went on to San Jacinto College in Texas then transferred to ENMU in Portales N.M.

After college she started dispatching for Roswell Police Department and Caprock Communications retiring from them and became a New Mexico State Police dispatcher for 20 years. Upon retirement from there she worked for Pollards Bus Company and Pecos Valley Trails until she could no longer work anymore. She was also a long-standing member of The Chaves County Sheriff's Posse.

She is preceded in death by her parents William & Thelma Stuart; and her Brother-in-law Wallace C. Warick
Those left to cherish her memory is her Sister: Jean Warick; Niece's Sabra Jones (Rusty), Robbyn Dove (Tommy); Nephew Troy Warick (Karen). Great-nephews; Cory Briscoe, Brandon Dove, Kenny Warick, Thatcher Warick. Great Nieces; Nicole Briscoe, Tonya Gordon, Anastasia Jeakins, Chelsie Jeakins, and 16 great great nephews and nieces. Several extended family and friends. We want to extend a special thank you to Jack & Judy Yeager-Chapman for having done so much for Connie during this time we don't know what we would have done without them.

Pallbearers will be Frank Rincon, Robert Mabry, Larry Pena, Juan Saenz, Larry Talbert, Randy Creighton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Espinoza, Teresa Peralta, Rose Trujillo.

Services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Ballard Chapel with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery
