A memorial graveside for the burial of cremains will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2007 at Portales Cemetery for Clifford Sanders, 47, of Roswell, who passed away February 11, 2007 at his home.

Clifford was born on June 13, 1959, in Santa Rosa, New Mexico to Willie A. Sanders and Billie E. Higgins Sanders. Both parents precede him in death.

Clifford married Laurie Ann Gutierrez on October 15, 1999 in Roswell. She survives him at the family home.

Clifford is also survived by a son: Bobby Nixon of Portales, NM; his daughters: Ashleigh Hardin of Portales, NM and Amber Renay Segovia and husband Hector of Clovis, NM; his five grandchildren; and his sisters: Jeannye Easter of Portales, NM, Sandy Shaw of Tennessee and Mila Garcia and husband Joe of Portales, NM.

She is also preceded in death by a step-mother: Dora V. Sanders, and two brothers: Jofinny Ray Sanders in 1964 and Wayne G. Sanders in 2002.

Clifford worked for Waide Sand and Gravel in Roswell as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He has lived in Roswell for 9 years.
