Clark E. Housewright

Clark E. Housewright was born on June 4, 1951 in Roswell, NM. He was was taken to the kingdom of heaven after his battle with cancer on September 24, 2026. Clark graduated from Roswell High school in 1969. He was drafted into military service with the US Army. Where he served a tour in Vietnam and earned the Bronze Star. He continued his service and was an Army aviator until 1993. After his discharge he became an airline pilot until his retirement in 2011.

Clark was preceded in death by his wife Helen Beirne-Housewright, parents Claude and Ella Mae and siblings Roy Doyal “John” Housewright, Ed Housewright, Estelle Shaw, Gladys Jones and Norma Comau.

He is survived by his wife Catherine Jalsoviczky, daughters Katherine Housewright, Suzie Torres and Jennifer Rodriguez and his son Eric Housewright. Clark also left behind his brothers Claudie and J.E. “Bob” Housewright and sister Donna Gilliland.

Services will be held 9am on October 16, 2026 at Crossroads Assembly of God in Roswell, NM. There will be a grave side military honor guard ceremony at 10:30am in South Park Cemetery.

It is the wish of Clark that instead of sending flowers that donations be made in his honor to either the Wounded Warrior Project or The American Cancer Society.
