Christina Bolanos

June 21, 1963 — November 27, 2020

Christina Marie Bolanos, daughter of Benjamin Dotson Martinez and Emma Matta Martinez, was born in Roswell, NM on June 21, 1963, and passed on Monday, November 30, 2020.

Christine, as she was called by many grew up as a joyful mischievous child, at a young age of 10 years old she lost her mother after which she and her siblings were raised by close family. Christine became a mother herself at a young age, coming to bare four children in total. She was dedicated, strong willed, and always worked hard for her family, sometimes holding up to three jobs at a single time. Christine made her career at Wal-Mart as a CSM where she worked for over 15 years until she retired due to a work-related back injury that left her disabled. After which she continued to still support her family in any way she could. Christine was a strong, loving, caring, and compassionate women. She worked so hard, so her family needed for nothing. She had the kindness heart and often overextended herself for the sake of helping others in need. Christine often spent her time doing the things she loved, cooking large meals for family gatherings, crouching, caring for or spending time with her grandchildren, and she enjoyed spending time shopping for her family. One could easily say she lived for her family.

Her kindness did not stop there, she often went out of her way to help and support friends and extended family. Her beautiful soul touched a lot of people's lives. Christine was a very spiritual women who loved and cared for many others, she would help anyone that was in need. Christine was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, daughter, god mother to many, and friend. Her faith in family and the lord was unshakable, in hard times she taught us to buckle down stay strong and fight through to the better side of things. She taught us to cherish the beautiful moments in life, to express ourselves, to stand out in a positive manner, and to never be afraid to be different. Christine was loved by so many and will be missed but her memory will live through those she left behind. Though now she lives in the kingdom of our heavenly father her memory will serve as a pillar of hope, strength, courage, and love. A true angel in life, now watching over us all from the kingdom of heaven.
