On September 8, 2017, Betty Bojorquez recently passed into the hands of her Lord in Roswell. Betty was born in Abilene, Texas on September 5, 1926. She was married to Jacob (Jay) T. Betty had been living in Roswell for the past year, and was enjoying attending the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and coloring books, but loved to play dominoes, where she took particular pleasure in beating her son-in-law Ben! She was very fond of her friend and caregiver Rose Holguin.

A private memorial ceremony for Betty is being planned for the near future.
