Benny G. Contreras Aug. 20, 1943- Feb. 16, 2007 resident, of Pittsburg CA.Benny Contreras, 63, passed away February 16, 2007. He is a native of New Mexico and a 41- year resident of Pittsburg . Benny is survived by his wife, Connie Contreras, son Efrem Z. Contreras; four grandsons; two brothers; two sisters; and two goddaughters.He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Beatrice Contreras; one brother and five nephews. There will be a rosary Tuesday February 27, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Ballard Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held Wednesday February 28, 2007 At 10: 00 a.m. at St. Johns Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Larry Medina, Joe Varela, Felix Reese, Gerald Contreras, Isidro Contreras, and Ralph Najar.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory.
